NO!! All Brockway trucks were built in the Cortland, New York, USA plant, 35 miles from my childhood home. The Indiana merger was short lived and went back to straight Brockway when White Motor bought Indiana in the mid 30's. Brockway was purchased by Mack Trucks in 1956, but was operated as an individual company until the late 60's / early 70's when the design / engineering departments started working together. The Brockway Truck Preservation Assn website does not have a discussion forum anymore, BUT they do have a Farcebook page. They are a BIG part of the Central NY Living History Museum in Cortland NY. The BTPA has their Brockway weekend the second weekend of every August in Cortland and adjoining Homer NY USA. Open museum, 2 dinners, parade and static show of between 120 to 150 ALL Brockways.

Were Brockways made in Canada? ....that was the usual method of tariff reduction used by US makers in that era.....GM,Ford ,Dodge all had Canadian plants........IH and White had local assembly plants.

Campbell and Worthington were the Brockway agents in Adelaide, Sth Australia, in the mid 1920's. I found a photo of their premises via google, but i am afraid posting it here is beyond me.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Martin Egan of Melbourne, Victoria has restored a 1937 (I think) Brockway which he drives to truck shows.

The Merv Brunt Collection in Colac had a couple of Brockways. I know that after he passed a local service club took over the Museum for a while but I think the collection was later sold off. Here are some photos taken when I went on a run as a member of the International Harvester Club of Australia in September 2007. Does anyone know where they are now?
