front wheel doesn't look like AEC who used (mostly?)10 stud. One behind has narrow front axle

The second one , it looks like it's from  the  South Australian arm of the business ?  It has "Wridgways S.A."  and a different ph. Number.

They had Commers at one stage.

Front one is definitely a Commer chassis ... Can't say in the rear one ... Most likely a BMC group chassis

I think maybe Leyland.

Top badge possibly a variation of this one.

 

The bottom badge one of the many variations of this one. Often with "TIGER", "AtlantianT etc instead of Diesel.

I reckon Lang and wannabe are on the mark. 

Wridgway had depots all over the place .

Before the OHS rules, Furniture vans were commonly used to convey suburban footy teams to away games.
