Chamberlain Champion 236 serial No.

Hi all,
New to forum.
Have a Chamberlain Champion 236 serial No. 236 L 1282. Can anyone give some info on year of manufacture etc.
In use around the farm, but will be doing some restoration work.

I am guessing your tractor has 3PL?

My Chamberlain book suggests your tractor would have been built in 1974, perhaps late 1973.

Yes, it has 3PL & Loader Attachment 
 

Any idea on how many of these were made?

I was thinking afterward, perhaps the L in your Serial number means Linkage?  I only asked, as your Serial No. only seemed to fit in the linkage category.

So the book says - 

Champion 236 Basic       -  No Built  25     -  Serial start/finish   1001-1025  -  Year 1970-1972
Champion 236 Drawbar  -  No Built  156   -  Serial start/finish   1001-1156  -  Year 1970-1974
Champion 236 Linkage   -  No Built  534  -  Serial start/finish    1001-1534  -  Year 1970-1974
